I tried doing a tech blog before – I failed because I didn’t have anything interesting to write about. I was also at an angry part of my life as well, so that may have attributed.
I’m going to use this as an opportunity to write down the things I learn to hopefully share them with others. I’m working on a number of projects at the moment – this year I seem to have picked up a bunch of new and exciting things, including learning Ruby on Rails, Objective C, some more work on the Cairo Shell project.
Some of the things I’ll be writing about here will hopefully become really helpful – such as the workings of the Windows Shell – which I know is really hard to find information about, and at the end of the day it becomes trial and error work…
One final disclaimer – I don’t profess to be an expert on anything that I write here. First and foremost I am a scholar, someone learning about my field of study, second to that I am a developer. The industry I work in changes every second, and there is always a hundred different ways to do things. Your means might vary
